Prayer

How do we learn to Pray “Your Kingdom COme”?

The Apostle Paul, in one of his letters to Timothy says: “First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all people” (1 Tim 2:1). There are lots of different ways to pray: as a 20th Century Abbott, John Chapman, said: “Pray as you can, not as you can’t!” If you would like to learn more about how we encourage prayer in Kettering Vineyard, do get in touch: Contact - we post regular messages on social media and WhatsApp with tips on how to pray and follow Jesus. Ronald “Gypsy” Smith was an uneducated man who preached to millions. When asked by people how God could use them in the same way as he was using Gypsy, he advised them to go home, kneel on the floor of their room and draw a circle around them with chalk. Then to pray fervently and brokenly that God would start a revival within that chalk circle.
